Where does your portfolio's data live today?

Each system reports on its own slice, in its own schema, behind its own export. A question that spans two of them, like whether residents with open work orders renew at the same rate as everyone else, is nobody's dashboard.

Vendor and consultant requests hit the same wall from the other side. When a consultant needs your maintenance history to advise on staffing, or an advisor needs the terms buried in your connectivity agreements, the answer routes through whichever vendor holds that data, on that vendor's timeline.

What can you do with a data layer you own?

AI plans get a foundation. An AI tool reasoning over your operations is only as good as the data it can reach, and a model pointed at one vendor's slice can only answer that vendor's questions. A warehouse that holds the whole portfolio is what lets AI work across it.

The questions between systems get answerable. Renewal patterns against open work orders, leasing outcomes against unit amenities. Whatever your analysts have been joining on a spreadsheet, they can join in the warehouse instead.

How do vendors and consultants read it without owning it?

Through the sharing controls your warehouse already has. Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks each support governed, read-only sharing, scoped to the exact tables and columns you choose. Because the warehouse is yours, the grant is yours. You decide which partner sees what, and you revoke it the same way.

This is what changes vendor conversations. A data request stops being a favor routed through another vendor and becomes a term you set: what is shared, at what granularity, for how long, and what you get in return. No. Connect delivers into a warehouse you control, and Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Amazon RDS, and Postgres are all supported destinations. If you do not run one today, provisioning one and starting with a single source is a normal first step.

Is the data normalized when it lands in our warehouse?

It lands raw across the catalog, with a normalized layer for the major property management systems, where a Unified API connector performs the normalization. Everything else arrives in its source system's native structure, which you can model downstream with dbt or similar tooling.

Can a vendor write to our warehouse or our systems through Propexo?

Propexo Connect's pipelines flow one way, from your source systems into your warehouse. Partner access to the warehouse is whatever your grant allows, and scoped read-only grants are the standard arrangement.

How do we give a vendor or consultant access to our data?

Through your warehouse's own sharing features, such as Snowflake data sharing, BigQuery authorized datasets, or Databricks Delta Sharing. You scope the grant to specific tables or views, the partner queries current data without receiving a copy of everything, and you can revoke the grant at any time.

What does this mean for resident privacy?

You decide the scope of every grant. Warehouse sharing is controlled at the table, view, and column level, so a partner grant can exclude resident-level fields entirely or expose only aggregates. Nothing in your warehouse is visible to any partner by default.
